Kenya Photography Safaris

“Photography” and “travel to Africa” are two activities that are inextricably linked together due to the stunning visual locations available, the magical African light and the variety of superb subjects to capture on film. As a specialist operator to Kenya for over 10 years we have been asked more and more for opportunities for clients who are both knowledgeable and those that are new to photography if there are any trips we offer that are more specialised and include help with the use of the equipment as well as guides who are versed in photography.

Karen Blixen Camp

This camps sits in the heart of the Mara North Conservancy and as part of the Out of Africa Collection, it has long been a favourite in the safari world! Named after the Danish author who wrote Out of Africa, one of the most romantic stories told, the camp today shadows this romance in the midst of the wild and beautiful African savannah.

Naibor Camp

Naibor Camp is a luxury tented camp in the heart of the Masai Mara Game Reserve. On the banks of the Talek River, the camp has resident families of hippo that seem to love the camp and its location as much as we do! With simple furnishings, a candlelit communal dining area and very accommodating hosts, Naibor Camp has a very relaxing and classic safari feel to it.

Mara Plains

As you walk over a wooden bridge to Mara Plains, the first glimpse of the camp is a very luxurious and sleek one. Sat directly from the main area - as if straight out of The Lion King- is a huge Acacia tree, which has slowly become the 'icon' of the camp.

Ol Seki Hemingways Mara

Ol Seki is a luxury tented camp in the Naboisho Conservancy adjacent to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. The camp, which can accommodate only 12 guests, is magically peaceful and secluded... perfect for those looking to get away from the crowds that the Mara Reserve can attract.
