What our clients are saying about us and our trips...

With web review sites being all the rage these days, it can be a little difficult to sift through the debris to actually find out what a place or hotel is like. From our point of view, having stayed in 99% of the hotels and safari lodges we sell (and quite a few we don't), we think that these reviews can be very misleading as it is impossible to know what the reviewer likes, was looking for, paid etc. etc. In our opinion our job is to find out what you like and match the correct product to you...see how we have done. (please note that ALL of the reviews we feature are 100% real and unedited. If you would like to speak to any of our past clients please let us know)

Furthermore, we have started to gather customer reviews through Trustpilot so please take a look at our page on there to see how we are doing! Trustpilot Reviews >>

Hi Nick,
Thank you for getting in touch.
Our honeymoon in Zanzibar was simply blissful!!!
The Jafferji hotel in stone town was incredible. Would 100% return. We loved how close we were to everything. And how unique the hotel was.
When we got to Matemwe, we were put in a room without a plunge pool. When I spoke to the manager about it, he wasn't aware of the booking so I showed him your email and the receipt. He also wasn't aware it was our honeymoon. However within a couple of hours, Ross (another manager) told us they had another room we would love and we could move to.
Oh my god, it was a huge villa with its own chef and butler. Couldn't believe it. We were moved from the Lodge to the Retreat and the villa we stayed in was truly incredible. My husband and I did not want to leave. The meals were excellent. Every day was beautiful, fresh seafood and salads.
The staff were so friendly and kind. The surroundings were immaculate and we loved how authentic it was, rather than a massive modern hotel.
We were very sad to leave Zanzibar - it really captured our heart. We would love to return one day.
Thank you for all your recommendations Nick. Anyone we know who plan to visit Tanzania, we will be giving them your details.
Thank you for making our honeymoon so special. Have attached a couple of photos you're welcome to use.

Hi Gemma
Thank you very much for your kind messages though, I'm sure you won't be surprised to hear that we had an amazing time!
The safari camps were luxurious, perfect for a honeymoon and the area was totally unspoilt as nature would have intended, we wouldn't have found these camps without you so thank you very much. We were the only 2 guests at Jongomero for 2 days so we felt like real VIPs with our private national park.
We had some unforgettable experiences such as an elephant brushing against our tent in the dead of night, watching a buffalo herd stop for a drink while we had breakfast in the bush and hearing the lions roaring as we had dinner under the stars.
The staff in the camps were fantastic which made it even more special. The people at Jongomero especially made our time there so comfortable. Having been there for only 3 days it felt like home and we're very keen to go back there, perhaps combined with another camp in an area with more big cats.
Your organisation was superb too, the longest we spent without somebody guiding us could only have been a few seconds as the transfers and ticketing was seamless. It could have been an intimidating environment around some of the busy airports but we were always met by a sign with our names on so it took the stress away. It can't be easy to coordinate a holiday over 3 locations with the domestic flights but everything went perfectly.
The hotel in Matlai couldn't live up to the standard set by the safari camps, the villa was spectacular and service was fantastic but the food tended to be laced with curry powder so it became a bit repetitive and wasn't at the Siwandu or Jongomero standard, We had a nice time there relaxing by the beach but I think the safari was so good that if felt a little underwhelming. All in all, we had the most incredible time and we can't thank you enough.
Once we've saved up enough money we'll be back, are you able to combine safaris across multiple countries (perhaps Zambia and Tanzania) or do the borders make this too complicated?
Best regards,
Steven

Hi Gemma,

Sorry for the delay. Yes we had a great holiday and all went really well. On safari it was super having a private vehicle and guide, with Mike's interest in birds it made a great difference. Kim at Selous was especially good.

We saw a greater variety of wildlife in Ruaha than in Selous where we mainly saw Giraffes, Hippos and Crocs, lots and lots of these. Both camps were so excellent and everyone was so friendly.

We absolutely loved Ras Kutani, it was perfect for us, almost the beach to ourselves! The only thing was I found the steps down to the rowing boat on arrival a bit difficult. But we would go there again despite the steps! They made a little cake for me when Mike let on it was my 70th B'day!

Many thanks for organizing it, great memories.

Best Wishes, Mike and Rosemary

Hi Gemma

Thanks for your email; we had a great time!

We did struggle a little with the outbound connections in the end, as the flight was delayed at Heathrow by an hour. Once in Doha, Qatar whisked us through and we did make the flight to Kilimanjaro although our bags did not! Qatar however did put them on the next days flight and then delivered them to Plantation Lodge the next evening which was great - even the hotel manager said before they came that she had never known luggage arrive that late, so well done to Qatar.

We very much enjoyed the Safari; Multichoice looked after us very well and Plantation Lodge made a lovely birthday cake for Alex although we were too full to eat much of it!

The guys at the Sanctuary camp could not have done enough for us - they were great. The camp was due to move on 1st July to be nearer the migration; in the mean time this meant we had a 3 hour journey to and from the migration in the end so it was a long day, but well worth it. The same guide then took us on another full day game drive the next day too which was amazing - he too could not have done any better and was superb at spotting all the wildlife!

The only negative for the camp was that no lunch pack was provided for the day when we left. Coastal had us on the flight from Seronera to Zanzibar via Ruaha, so there was no opportunity to buy anything to eat en-route.

Thanks
Rob

Dear Nick Well done for putting together a brilliant holiday for Katharine and myself. I say holiday but I feel 'Life Experience' is far more appropriate. We have been left hooked on the vastness of Africa, the stunning wildlife and its wonderful people with camps run by people who really know what service means. The whole experience has left us wanting more. We have recommended you to some friends and I'm sure you will hear from them shortly. Many thanks again Philip

Dear Nick,

Sorry for the delay in writing to you. We have been extremely busy since getting back!

Just wanted to say thank you for your help in organising the most amazing itinerary! Every place we stayed at was unique and absolutely perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better honeymoon. Also thank you so much for your help in the planning stage - your prompt replies to all my questions and your knowledge on the subject was most appreciated!

I think Siwandu and the level of service we received there was the highlight. Amazing game! We saw lions pretty much every game drive we did. Very knowledgeable guides and amazing staff with lots of attention to detail!

We are definitely already thinking of a trip back, maybe to northern Tanzania this time, so I will be in touch!

Thanks again and all the best,

Maheeka

Nick,

Just a short note thanking you for all your help arranging our amazing holiday. It went 100% to plan, despite Brexit and short connection times! It really was outstanding, and the choice of camps etc was perfect for what we wanted to do. A few pictures attached so you can see what we saw!

Many thanks again Nick- I’ve already recommended you on; I hope business continues well for you.

Hello Nick.

Apologies for not replying sooner we have been visiting Kate and Pepe.

Thanks for your arrangements for our trip. All worked perfectly and the two guides were very competent and friendly. Lucky was clear about arrangements and sorted out issues as we went. The Gorillas were amazing and we had the most amazing experience. The Volcanos Hotel was excellent but as it had only been open a few weeks the staff were still learning their roles. The Golf Hills hotel was adequate especially as we only slept there but the facilities are limited and food basic. I am not sure if they will remain open much longer as they have already sold one half of the buildings they own.

Coastal air were excellent and the flight memorable. The camp in Tanzania was in a wonderful position and the staff were exceedingly helpful. For two days we were the only guests. We had to travel considerable distances each day but did see every type of animal in Serengeti including Cheetah, Leopard and Rhino. Hubert our guide was excellent at spotting the animals and managed all the issues along the way. He also managed to spend more time than was necessary traveling to the airport in order to save us arriving at the airport too early. There were few facilities at Arusha.

Thank you for making all the arrangements and for supplying all the advance information.

Best wishes

Keith
